The Utility Subgroup was formed in 2007 as a subgroup of the Design Task Force (MITA, APAM, MCPA, ACEC, MDOT) which meets on a regular basis to discuss constructability, proper fix selection, constituency for special provisions, post construction reviews and other design related issues.
The purpose and goals of the Utility Subgroup are to develop improved communication and cooperation between government agencies, design engineers, utilities, and contractors.
3nd Annual Michigan Utility Coordination Conference (MUCC) Wrap-up
The MUCC was presented free of charge by Consumers Energy, Detroit Edison, Michcon, MDOT, MITA, MISS DIG and ACEC (FTC&H, NTH Consultants, OHM, PB, The Mannik & Smith Group, C2AE, Rowe PSC, URS, HRC).
